A modular Smart Home Ventilation System developed as an IoT semester project. ESP32-based indoor and outdoor nodes collect environmental data and control actuators, while MQTT provides communication through a central hub. An Express/EJS web application provides a user interface for monitoring sensor information and controlling connected devices.

A robotics project that enables a Husarion mobile robot to autonomously explore and map an unknown environment. The system combines SLAM, Nav2, laser scanning and frontier-based exploration, with parameter optimisation to improve obstacle avoidance and exploration coverage. The project also includes RViz visualisation and automatic map storage after exploration.

General Project:
An algorithms and data-structures project implementing several binary-tree variants in Java. A common abstract BinaryTree architecture separates shared operations from tree-specific behaviour, while AVL and Red-Black Trees implement their respective balancing mechanisms. Particular emphasis was placed on iterative rather than recursive implementations and automated testing.

Visualisation Project
An educational visualisation tool that connects binary-tree algorithms with an interactive graphical representation. Users can observe changes to the tree, follow individual node modifications and review the history of operations. The application integrates the BinaryTreeHSF implementations with JavaFX, Graphviz and WebView-based visualisation.

A complete programming and modelling project based on the UNO card game. The application uses Java and JavaFX for the game interface and implements card, player and game-state logic, including automated players. Model-driven development with Fulib and automated tests using JUnit and TestFX were used to validate game behaviour.

A research project examining how safety-critical communication between trains and railway control infrastructure is protected against cyber threats. The work analyses European railway technologies including ETCS, GSM-R and FRMCS and compares their security approaches with Japanese railway systems. Topics include authentication, integrity, availability, MILS, intrusion detection and Moving Target Defence.

The repository also documents the evolution of the paper through several revisions and contains its LaTeX and Markdown source and build environment.

A networking project implementing a lightweight publish/subscribe protocol directly on top of UDP. The system consists of a broker, publishers and subscribers communicating through a custom text protocol. It supports hierarchical topics, wildcard subscriptions, dynamic subscriber management, unsubscribe handling and both periodic and interactive publishers.

An embedded-system prototype designed to automatically count rakaat during prayer. The system detects sujud using either an ultrasonic distance sensor or an infrared sensor. State-change and debounce logic filter sensor readings to avoid false or repeated detections. After two detected sujud movements, the system increments the rakaat count and displays the result on an OLED screen with visual feedback.

A collaborative learning-platform project centred around deploying, configuring and documenting a Moodle environment for railway-related educational content. The project covers Moodle server and database installation, multilingual content support, plugin configuration, HTTPS deployment, Composer and backup procedures, together with experimentation with local AI integration using Ollama.

An operating-systems project implementing a small interactive Unix shell from scratch. The shell executes system commands through fork() and execvp(), resolves programs through PATH, supports command arguments, multiple commands and pipelines, and implements built-in commands such as cd, exit and ret. It also handles Unix signals including SIGINT and SIGHUP and includes automated functionality tests.

CloudGate is a team-developed 2D platform game featuring level and character selection, gameplay, and a custom level editor. Qt/QML provides the user interface, while SDL2 handles the game engine and rendering, with Box2D supporting the physics system. Levels are stored using XML and HDF5 data. The contributed work focused particularly on the persistence layer for saving, loading, validating, and reconstructing level data.

A set of ROS 2 components developed for processing sensor data in the EDAG CityBot environment. The C++ fps_reducer node reduces the frame rate and resolution of RGB and depth-camera streams and downsamples 3D point clouds using a voxel-grid filter. The accompanying cb_decompressor package uses ROS 2 Image Transport to convert compressed colour and depth streams back into raw image topics for further processing.

Abacus-javaFX: A JavaFX desktop app for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division practice. Players can choose a number range and review their saved results and session history.

Sempoa App — AppRev: A Swing desktop app that generates addition and subtraction questions, checks answers, and records practice sessions in text files.

Sempoa App — Terminal: A command-line version with random arithmetic questions and structured subtraction training. It checks answers and saves a session log.

An Android e-commerce application developed as a final project for an Android development bootcamp. Product lists and detailed product information are retrieved through REST APIs using Retrofit, while shopping-cart data is stored locally with SQLite. The application also includes user registration and login, profile management, checkout, shipping-cost calculation through RajaOngkir, and transaction views for paid and unpaid orders.

An embedded-systems project implementing autonomous line tracking for a four-wheel robot in C. The software is divided into modules for ADC sensor input, motor control, timers and interrupts, USART communication, and robot behaviour. The robot detects the starting field, follows a black line for multiple rounds, and supports commands such as pause and reset through serial/Bluetooth communication. A Makefile also automates compilation, flashing, execution tools, and Doxygen documentation.

An Algorithms and Data Structures project implementing sparse vectors without storing unnecessary zero-valued entries. Each non-zero value is represented by an index-value node in a singly linked list, with operations for insertion, removal, lookup, vector addition, and equality comparison. The Gradle-based project also contains JUnit tests covering normal operations, invalid indices, size limits, zero handling, and linked-list behaviour.

An Android prayer-time application built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The application retrieves data for a selected mosque from Mawaqit, extracts its prayer-time configuration using Fuel, Jsoup, and Gson, and determines the next prayer according to the mosque's timezone. The interface displays the next prayer, its scheduled time, and a continuously updated countdown. The project also uses a ViewModel and Kotlin coroutines to separate data retrieval from the user interface.

A Distributed Systems project modelling a network of virtual robot players as independently running Docker containers. Robots register with a central controller through gRPC, exchange distributed messages through MQTT, and participate in a leader-election process to select a captain. The system also implements robot status reporting, acknowledgements, liveness monitoring, automatic re-election, scalable robot instances with Docker Compose, and HTTP endpoints for observing and controlling the simulation.
